Biography
| My name is David Landon. I go by Daron Kel pretty much everywhere. My art background is brief, but I do what I can when I can to produce work to the best of my abilities. Art started for me in second grade, when I saw my first picture that I remember. These pictures were whole scenes, that simply were there. All my life I've had a problem with writing by hand and drawing, which caused me to believe that art wasn't my thing, that it would never be something that I could do. It was early in 2004 that I discovered digital art. All this time, I had these pictures in my head, but never a method to bring them to reality. Digital art changed my life. I was now able to express myself in a pure way, a wonderful way for me. It helped me keep going in my studies, bringing my grades up, and giving myself a new self confidence. I was able to take this into other forms of artistic expression, such as acting and singing. That last Summer, I changed my outlook on life, and stopped being a shy, secluded person who was afraid of disapproval by others. I started taking risks in everything, from life to my art. It paid off. I'm a much happier person than I was then, and do more with my art than I have before. Art to me is the best way to express emotion. I take that emotion and put it into my landscapes, trying to capture it in a new form with each and every image I create. My style has changed somewhat from when I first started producing landscapes. I chagned from bold colors to a more subtle pallete, insted expressing myself through the emotion in a scene. I hope you enjoy looking through my prints.
